Blog site

Morning all,

Not quite managed to built up a cast of thousands following me, yet.  So very much aware that I am pretty much talking to myself! Anyway, here I go.

I decided to change my blog page to something bright and what I think beautiful.  I must thank Angie at Docrafts site for all the help available on her blog. http://angiescrafthideaway.blogspot.com/p/how-to-for-blogs.html.  So, if I can do it anyone can.

Forever Friends Challenge

Morning Folks

If you would care to take part in a Forever Friends Challenge, I am hosting one over on the Do Crafts site.  I would like you to choose either a stepper or a easel card.  It has to be for Christmas and you must include snowflakes.

The beautiful little snowflakes on the easel card have been hand punched by Craftynannan from the Do Crafts site.  I admired them on one of her creations and she was nice enough to punch out a load and post them off to me.

I couldn't decide which one to make so I did both.
I have used snowflake peel offs on the stepper card

I have been entering a few of the challenges on the Do Crafts Website.  The one below is for Clare's Sketch Challenge.

I have been experimenting with  digital crafting
over the past few weeks and used images that I had
downloaded from the clipart fairy.
The lilac gingham backing papers is from the
Girl Toddler Set which I overlaid with the
Miss Melanie Image.  A bit of Crystal Glamour
Dust, some matting and layering with plain white
card and lilac Kanban card and Voila! A dainty, cute little card for a 6 year old.  The card its self was very easy to make and took no more than 20 minutes.

I do have to say though, if you are a bit indecisive - as I am - it might take you a tad longer to decide on what images to use!

Happy Crafting.

Why does nothing ever go the way it should?

Afternoon folks,

It has taken me twenty minutes to get into my own blogspot - What an idiot!!!
Couldn't remember my password and then couldn't remember the password for my e.mail address so that I could recover the password for the blogsport - confused.com or what.

Just passing the time, waiting for my husband to bring me up the car seat for my daughter.  Being a typical male he drove away this morning with both of them in his car, never giving the rest of us a second thought.

My mother is patiently waiting on us arriving to take her shopping.  For 'patiently' please read 'impatiently' as we were supposed to be there an hour ago.  I am usually the one with my face like fizz waiting on her!

Schools go back in this area on Wednesday and my wee daughter goes into P1.  Don't know quite how I am feeling about that.  It is just 5 minues ago she was born, it can't possibly be 5 years, can it?  She is turning into a 'girl' before my eyes.  Abandoning this post for a bit as hubby has just turned up.  Be back soon.

OMG! Did I say girl?  My daughter has just turned into a total BRAT in the supermarket.  It wasn't over toys or sweets it was about TOILET ROLLS.  Coz I didn't want the same one as she wanted she threw it out the trolley!   Dragged her out kicking and screaming.  It's so unlike her I am wondering if all the talk of school is unsettling her.  No cartoons for her for a bit!

I am still trying to work out how to add pics and all the little bits and pieces to this blogspot.  So if you see anything odd or things disappear it's just me playing.

Just one of the Christening Cards I have completed recently.  The template has been downloaded from theclipartfairy.com.

Well here goes.

I am a dedicated (some would say addicted) crafter.  Like other crafters I am prone to little episodes of 'Crafters Block'.  So to fill these times I have decided to create a blog.  Don't know if I have anything interesting enough for others to look at, but hey ho, here goes.

I am also going to post pics of my 'creations' - mostly cards. Well actualy all cards. I am however, harbouring notions of increasing my crafting interests.  I would like to have a go at making jewellery and I have millions of pictures that are just begging to be placed into scrapbooks.  So maybe once I win the lottery and can give up my day job, I will have a bash. Oh Well, a girl can dream!
